2025 in Review
2025 was quite a year! We look back on just some of the highlights.

It was all change at the top as MD Miles took the reins, Rupert became Exec Chairman and Head Brewer Dewald joined the team.

We celebrated our 33rd birthday.

Utopia 8000 marked the milestone of our 8000th brew.

There was a succession of successful seasonal beers…

…including our April Fool’s Day Pork Scratching Pale Ale…

….and more 100% solar-brewed One Planet beers.

The hot, dry summer left us all thirsty, including the hops, which gave us a small but high quality harvest and sent the solar panels into overdrive – on one special day, generating enough energy for a whole brew.

We partnered with Exmoor….

…and enjoyed visits from BBC Farmwatch and ITV3’s Love Your Weekend.

Hero IPA made an appearance on ITV3’s Love Your Weekend’s Best of British feature.

The Hoppers did us proud in the hop garden, and we were finalists in 3 sustainability awards, while Little Swine and Surrey Nirvana picked up a prestigious medal apiece.

The Hop Harvest Party Weekend saw nearly 4,000 visitors enjoying the best live music line up yet…

…and The Beer Engine led the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride from start to finish.

The grand opening of the refurbished Tap saw the great and the good of Surrey assemble here…

….whilst Salvation Barbers became our newest tenant.

The Tongham TEA Clubbers enjoyed their tutored beer tasting....

…and thanks to your generosity, you’ve helped raise nearly £6,000 for local and national charities.

All in all, not a bad year!
It wouldn’t be possible without the help and support of you all, so a heartfelt “thank you” from MD Miles and the whole of the Hogs Back Team.

Here’s to a successful 2026!
