Meet Salvation Barbers - our newest tenants!
We’re delighted that Salvation Barbers has taken up tenancy here at the Hogs Back Brewery.
We met up with owner Antonio, also known on social media as “the barber in black”, to find out more about his business:
Q: How long have you been a barber?
A: I have been cutting hair for almost ten years now. For the last 7 years, I’ve been based just down the road in central Farnham.
Q: Where does the name, Salvation Barbers, come from?
A: The idea for the name came about after truly finding out just how much not just a haircut but the time spent talking to someone can help them. There are a couple of people, who, if it wasn’t for the time in the chair to unwind and destress, would be in a very different place to where they are now. Salvation isn’t just here to give the best cut we can, it’s also there for when you need it.
Q: When does Salvation Barbers officially open?
A: Because we are just moving location, we haven’t really shut our doors! We’re already got lots of bookings through to December, but we’re still taking bookings at www.salvationbarbers.co.uk
Q: Which days are you open?
We’re open here at our new home five days a week, offering all barber services. For a full list, check our website at www.salvationbarbers.co.uk
Tuesday 10.00 – 18.00
Wednesday 10.00 – 18.30
Thursday 10.00 – 20.00
Friday 10.00 – 18.30
Saturday 09.00 – 17.30
Q: What’s the best thing about being a barber?
A: You very rarely get bored! I’m talking to someone different almost every 30 minutes. It’s very rewarding to know that people come to you because they care about their hair and how they look, but also because they can get the haircut they want.
Q: How are you settling in?
A: The minute I saw this building, I knew it was the right place for me! I had been looking for a new premises since the summer and the fact that there is a tap room, restaurant, gym and butchers on site made it feel like a small community of like-minded businesses. A barbershop is a community experience so we should fit right in!
We wish Antonio and the Salvation Barbers every success in their new home.
