Refund policy

Faulty Goods

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase from Hogs Back Brewery, please contact shop@hogsback.co.uk, as soon as possible and within the Best Before date if the product has one. Please give details of the product, the issue, and state when and where you purchased it.  For Hogs Back beer bottles, the production information will usually be on the neck of the bottle or the base of the can.

If we need to review the product, we will contact you to make appropriate arrangements for its return.

If we find your product to be faulty, we will replace the product free of charge.  If a suitable replacement product is not available, we will offer vouchers or a refund, in line with the original method of payment. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Clothing Returns

Clothing that is in its original condition can be exchanged or refunded at the Brewery Shop in person.  If returning by post or courier, this is at your own cost.  Please ensure you have proof of posting and delivery.  We regret we are unable to replace items which we did not receive. We will send your replacement product to you by the same method as the original purchase. 

Damage in Transit

Some of our products are fragile and whilst every care is taken to ensure that your goods are delivered safely to you, inevitably there will be some breakages or damages.

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives and contact shop@hogsback.co.uk immediately if your delivery is broken or damaged, with details and if possible photographs of the damage.  We will replace products that have been broken or damaged in transit.

Order Cancellation

If you change your mind after you have placed your order, and we have not yet processed or dispatched the order, you will be able to cancel the order via shop@hogsback.co.uk.  Please note that at busy times and weekends, emails are processed the following day.  If your order has been processed or dispatched, we regret we cannot cancel the order.

Refunds & Cancellations for Events at the Hogs Back Brewery

The Hogs Back Brewery runs a number of different types of events at the Brewery.  The refund & cancellation policy may vary depending on the event.  If you are in any doubt, please contact events@hogsback.co.uk

Some of the events hosted by Hogs Back Brewery are run by external organisations. This will be stated on the Hogs Back Brewery website, and you may be redirected to another ecommerce site. The organiser’s terms of purchase and refund & cancellation policy will apply.  If in doubt, please contact events@hogsback.co.uk to check before booking.

Cancellations and Refunds for other Tap Room Ticketed Events 

If you are not able to attend the ticketed event for which you have booked, please contact us at events@hogsback.co.uk as soon as possible as there may be other people wanting to come.  If you cancel with more than 48 hours’ notice, we may be able to offer you a refund, depending on the event.  With less than 48 hrs notice, we regret we cannot offer any refund.

Cancellations for Tap Room Reservations:

If you are not able to come as planned, please cancel your booking via the system or let us know as soon as possible at bar@hogsback.co.uk.

Refunds for Brewery Tour or Hop Garden Tour bookings:

We appreciate that there are occasions when you may not be able to attend a tour.  If you contact us at shop@hogsback.co.uk

  • two weeks prior to the date of the tour, we will offer you alternative dates, a credit voucher to rebook at your convenience or a full refund.

  • one week prior to the tour, we will offer you alternative dates and a credit voucher to rebook

  • less than 24 hours before the start of the tour, it will be much harder for us to resell your place. If successful, we would be happy to offer a refund to the credit card used for the original booking after the date of the tour.  If we are not able to resell your ticket, we regret we cannot refund the cost.

We regret we cannot refund for no-shows, so do contact us if you can and we will try to resell your place.

If, due to circumstances beyond our control, we have to reschedule your tour, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

Refunds for private Brewery Tours or private Hop Garden Tours

Private events are difficult to cancel at short notice as we cannot resell – if the entire cancellation is made more than 2 weeks before the date, we will refund 80% of the total cost.  If more than a week 50%.  After that we sadly cannot offer a refund.

If an individual cancels from a private Brewery tour or Hop Garden tour after payment has been made, we regret we cannot refund the individual ticket price, but you are welcome to invite someone else in your place.
