Brewery Tap Tension!

It was a full house at the Brewery Tap on Saturday as England took on Scotland in the Calcutta Cup.  

Due to demand for tickets for the England match, the second large screen was promptly put up on Friday afternoon under the new marquee, so as not to disappoint expectant rugby fans.

On match day, very quickly, the Hangar transformed from this......

To this......as the fans arrived to take their seats for the first match, Ireland vs Wales.

With not one, but two big screens available, over 130 fans were able to "enjoy" the highs and lows of the tense England match. 

Although the score line did not go England's way, many a Snorter of England's Glory cask ale was drained and replenished, and a constant stream of freshly baked pizzas was served to hungry guests.

Keen not to miss out, many of our Brewery Tour visitors stayed on to watch the game as well.

A great atmosphere and a good afternoon of sport was enjoyed!

All the games are being shown live on the big screens and there is still availability for the remaining Six Nations matches.
