Christmas Quiz Highlights

With Mel at the helm, it was a splendid Christmas quiz in the Tap, in aid of Parkside. 

With 35 tables all competing, it was one of the biggest turnouts of the year.....

.....with a few four-legged friends as well.

With a decidedly Christmas-theme, our quizzers came suitable dressed .......

The family friendly quiz had questions ranging from “Name 4 of Santa’s original reindeer” to “Which famous scientist was born on Christmas Day in 1642?”

With rounds on General Christmas Knowledge, Christmas Dingbats, Christmas anagrams, Christmas Food & Drink and Christmas Pantomimes to name but a few, plus a festive Picture Round, there were questions for everyone.

In a high-scoring contest, “Table 6” ran out winners by just one point….

….pipping “The Sleesons”, who finished a very creditable second.

For “Robin Hood and the Weihnachtsmann” it was all about the taking part. Their efforts were rewarded with beer and chocolates.

A big “thank you” to everyone who came along. All the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Parkside, alongside the generous donations in the collecting buckets.  Parkside supports people with learning disabilities and their families in and around Aldershot.
