National Account Manager

Hogs Back Brewery is recruiting for a National Account Manager answering in direct to the MD Owner covering all the National Pub Company and Supermarket trade channels, and working with our existing team.

Hogs Back’s bestseller, Tongham TEA, has just been rebranded and sales are in growth – the opportunity now is to accelerate that growth in the South East and nationally. The key focus will be on improving quality and visibility in outlet and introducing new initiatives to champion the cask ale category which in turn benefits TEA. In the Off Trade it is to build on improved rates of sale with new listings. At a later point we will be looking at Export opportunities.

The Brewery has a strong range of other beers including Hogstar lager, Hog IPA, and Surrey Nirvana Session Pale. The Little Swine low/no alcohol range has just been launched and an exciting new brewing name will be joining the portfolio shortly. We have also developed the site with a very busy shop, good web sales, a bar and an event and music space.

We are unique in brewing with our own farm grown hops and are committed to building our local community roots and to achieving our zero carbon target. You will be a key member of the team taking this message out to our customers.

We want someone who is genuinely excited by our vision and our beers, who understands how to take them to the new generation of drinkers and ambitious to make their reputation with us. You must have a minimum of three years relevant experience and demonstrate real sales and organisational ability but do not need to have had lengthy experience in the beer category, though some knowledge and contacts will definitely help. A good understanding of trade marketing will also help.

Salary will entirely depend on experience.  Generous bonus scheme.

Candidate must live within 30 miles of Tongham, ideally nearer.
