Spring Spirits
Here’s some inspiring new additions to the Brewery Shop’s range of spirits this spring:
Ripping Yarns – Surrey’s first dedicated rum distillery – makes award winning premium rums completely from scratch in the nearby Surrey Hills, using the finest cane sugar molasses. The family run business launched in 2020, with Golden Spiced Rum – twice pot-distilled and then gently infused with carefully chosen botanical and spices to create an easy-sipping rum to be enjoyed with your favourite mixer or cocktail.
This was followed by Premium Silver Rum – delightfully smooth, light rum, enjoyed neat on the rocks or with a mixer or in a cocktail.
Mews Gin Company is a small batch artisan gin distiller based at West Horsley Place in Surrey. The father and son team use the vapour distillation method to produce a subtle and light gin, full of flavour without being overpowering.
Made from a unique selection of high-quality botanicals, Mews London Dry Gin delivers a distinctly smooth flavour.
Mews Damson Gin is made from beautifully ripe Damsons picked from within the 17th century walled orchard at West Horsley Place.
Gorilla Spirits Co.’s distillery in Upton Grey, in the north east corner of Hampshire as it borders with Surrey, is the home of their small-batch, award-winning spirits. With a family-styled team, they donates £1 to The Gorilla Organization for every bottle they sell.
Old Tom Gin – distilled in the Old Tom style – with outstanding character and smoothness. Perfect for classic cocktails and makes a deliciously different G&T too.
Karisimbi Spiced Rum – blended from aged and unaged rums from Barbados, Dominican Republic and Jamaica, spiced with blood orange, cinnamon, ginger and vanilla. Perfect with mixers or sipped over ice.

There's Greyfriars Blanc de Blanc and Rose Reserve, Lyme Bay Traditional Mead and fruit wines, and a range of wines to suit all tastes.
