Quiz Night Knowledge on Show

There was fun in the Hangar last night with the monthly charity quiz - what better way to spend a Thursday evening than in the company of Quizmaster Bruce?

There was a great turn out with 21 teams entered.

The quiz got off to a good start with Geography, with rounds on Beer Advertising Slogans, TV programmes, True or False and Science amongst others.

The Music Round proved popular - thankfully technology didn't let Bruce down for Beat the Introduction round......so much so that he felt confident enough to add a second music round with his new found IT skills!  

This month's Picture Round featured cheese - very appropriate, particularly with Bruce's helpful beer pairings!

The teams all entered into the spirit of the evening and generously donated money for a great local cause, Meath Epilepsy Charity in Godalming.  So a huge thank you to all of them!

The winners with a whopping 85/100 were All the Gear Some Idea.  Followed by runners up, Don't Look at Us.

It was the taking part not the winning where I'm Only Here for the Beer and the Tongham 4 were concerned and they were rewarded for their sportsmanship with some bottles of our ever-popular TEA.

Plenty of pizzas and pints went down well, rounding off an evening of fun.

Next month's quiz is in aid of Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal (Disasters Emergency Committee) on Thursday 5th May.  Just £5 per team to enter.  Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to this very worthy cause.
