Hot Headed!

Hot on the heels of the Little Swine 0.5% ABV Pale Ale, meet the latest addition to our Little Swine family of low alcohol beers – Little Ginger Swine.

Our latest take on the original full-bodied 0.5% Pale Ale is spiced up with warming ginger.  Blending three different hop varieties including our own aromatic English Cascade from the hop garden at the back of the brewery, a speciality yeast and a mix of 4 speciality fermentable and unfermentable malts, our latest Pale Ale is beautifully crafted in the brewhouse to get the very best out of each ingredient, whilst managing the fermentable sugars that produce the alcohol.  Brewing with about half the malt of a normal brew helps control the attenuation (or fermentable sugars) and is just one of the changes Head Brewer Mils has had to make to his normal brewing regime.

What’s more, it’s gluten free with only 103 calories per 500ml bottle.

The addition of natural ginger extract gives a spicy kick to complement the crisp, smooth ale for a memorable bottle of beer!  With a fiery temperament, it’s hot headed and will be hogging the headlines!
