Party FAQs

The FAQs are correct at the time of publishing (30th June 2023).

When are the Parties taking place?

Like last year we are celebrating the hop harvest by splitting the party weekend into two – our Family focussed event, the TEA party will be on Sunday 17th September and will be similar to last year with lots to do for the kids and ending a little earlier, whilst the Hop Harvest Festival on Saturday 16th September is more focussed on music for adults.

How do I get tickets?

Hop Harvest Festival tickets are now on sale online. There are a very limited number of Early Bird Tickets left at £20.  Advanced tickets cost £27.  If there are tickets still remaining on the day, these will be sold on the gate for £35 each.

Hop Harvest Festival 2023 – Hogs Back Brewery

TEA Party General tickets are now on sale for £12 for adults and £6 for children. (3-14 years). Under 3s are free.

Hop Harvest TEA Party 2023 – Hogs Back Brewery

Please don’t forget to bring your tickets with you to either party as a print out of your booking confirmation or just show us the confirmation on your mobile device.

If you don’t have your booking confirmation you will need to buy another ticket on the gate.

Hogs Back Brewery reserves the right to alter the ticketing conditions if it is felt that we are getting close to our maximum capacity. We will advise on the website and social media.

Can I book children for either Party?

We are encouraging families to attend our TEA Party on the Sunday where we will have a number of activities for children, however, accompanied children are welcome to attend the Hop Harvest Festival for the full ticket price. Please note, no unaccompanied children. We will be operating a Challenge 25 policy at the Bar.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, dogs will be welcome in all the outdoor areas at the parties as long as they are kept on a lead; indoor areas where we will be serving food will be prohibited. There will be water points and bowls provided.

I am a Tongham TEA Club member, do I get a free ticket?

Tongham TEA Club members will be contacted and offered a complimentary ticket to the TEA Party and a discounted ticket for the Hop Harvest Party. These offers are time sensitive so please respond within the time period indicated.

TEA Club complimentary tickets for the TEA Party and discounted tickets for the Festival are only available through the e-invite and cannot be claimed or purchased on the door.

The ticket offers applies to the main Tongham TEA Club card holder only and not to secondary card holders. If you would like to bring a guest, please purchase your additional tickets at the full purchase price either online or on the gate as normal.

What happens if I forget my ticket?

Only individuals with a ticket are allowed to enter the site. If you have booked online, please bring a print out of your ticket or show it to us on your phone or mobile device.

If you don’t bring your ticket, you will be required to purchase a new ticket on the door.

Can I get a refund for my ticket if I can no longer make it?

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any refunds for tickets.  Please see our Refund Policy.

Will I be allowed re-entry if I leave the party?

You will be given a wristband when you enter the party which will allow you to leave the site and come back in if needed. Re-admittance won’t be allowed if you have removed the wristband. There will be different wristbands for each party and only people with the correct wristbands will be admitted.

Where is the Brewery?

The Brewery is located on the edge of Tongham, just off the A31 (Hogs Back) between Farnham and Aldershot.

Can I park at the Brewery?

Yes, free parking will be available at the Brewery for the party in the field.  Please follow the arrows.  Volunteers will be on duty to show you where to park.  Please be aware the ground may be uneven.  Please consider walking or car sharing where possible to help ease congestion.

Vehicles will be left at the owner’s own risk. Hogs Back Brewery will not take responsibility for any damage caused to parked vehicles.

As a courtesy to our neighbours, please do not park on The Street or in the layby close to the Brewery.

Will there be Blue Badge (Disabled) parking available?

Blue Badge parking will be available in the main Brewery car park and you will need to display your blue badge when leaving your vehicle. You will be directed by the volunteers to where to park when you arrive on site.

Will the proposed South East Water roadworks in Tongham affect access to the Hogs Back Brewery?

We have been assured by South East Water that in the event of the road closure, there will still be full access to the Hogs Back Brewery.  For the latest information, please check the South East Water website.

Can I leave my car for collection after the event?

Vehicles cannot be left overnight and might need to be moved if left in the way. Please be aware that the field will be locked after the Hop Harvest Party finishes on Saturday and will need to be clear ahead of the TEA Party on Sunday.

Is there a drop off / pick up area?

The official drop off/pick up area will be available outside the Brewery and will be marked out.  You will be directed by our volunteers.

Is there provision for coach & mini-bus parking?

The coaches and mini bus drop off point will be beside the Barn in front of the brewery.

In order that your passengers can leave the coach safely directly onto the pavement, please approach the Brewery from the direction of the village of Tongham.

Due to the narrowness of The Street, please contact us in advance if you are planning to arrive by coach. Please email mark.frogley@hogsback.co.uk if you intend to do so.

Unfortunately there is not space to park coaches on site (mini-buses can use the field car parking). There is a layby beside the Esso petrol garage on the slip road to the Hogs Back where coaches can be left, please email to specify location.
