2025 Hop Harvest Party FAQs

The FAQs are correct at the time of publishing (9th October 2024) and will be updated as and when required.

When are the 2025 Hop Harvest Parties taking place?

We will be celebrating the hop harvest over the whole weekend.  We kick off on Friday 12th September 2025 with Roots Live – our original music evening.  On Saturday 13th September 2025, the Hop Harvest Festival takes place with our best-ever musical line up.  We finish the weekend on Sunday 14th September 2025, with the family-friendly TEA Party.

How do I buy tickets?

Hop Harvest Roots 2025 tickets will go on sale online on Friday 11th October 2025.

Music Events at The Hogs Back Tap – Hogs Back Brewery

Early Bird tickets £20.  When these have sold out, Advance tickets £25 will be available. If there are still tickets remaining on the day, these will be sold on the Gate for £30.

Hop Harvest Festival tickets will go on sale online on Friday 11th October 2025.

Music Events at The Hogs Back Tap – Hogs Back Brewery

Early Bird tickets £23.  When these have sold out, Advance tickets £30 will be available. If there are still tickets remaining on the day, these will be sold on the Gate for £35.

Hop Harvest TEA Party tickets will go on sale online on Friday 11th October 2025.

Music Events at The Hogs Back Tap – Hogs Back Brewery

Early Bird Adult tickets £12.  When these have sold out, Advance tickets £15 will be available. If there are still tickets remaining on the day, these will be sold on the Gate for £17.50.

Child tickets are for 3-14 year olds.

Early Bird Child tickets £7 including one Kids Zone activity token.  When these have sold out, Child Advance tickets £8 including one Kids Zone activity token will be available. If there are still tickets remaining on the day, these will be sold on the Gate for £10 including one Kids Zone activity token.

Under 3s are free.  

When will my online tickets be sent?

You should receive an order confirmation with your tickets straight away.  If for any reason you don’t receive it at the time of booking, please contact festival@hogsback.co.uk .

Please don’t forget to bring your tickets with you as a print out of your booking confirmation or just show us the confirmation on your mobile device.

If you don’t have your booking confirmation you will need to buy another ticket on the gate if there are tickets available.

Hogs Back Brewery reserves the right to alter the ticketing conditions if it is felt that we are getting close to our maximum capacity. We will advise on the website and social media.

Do I need to bring my tickets on the day?

Yes! Bring your tickets with you as a print out of your booking confirmation or just show us the confirmation on your mobile device.

If you don’t have your booking confirmation you will need to buy another ticket on the gate if there are tickets available.

We operate Challenge 25 so please be ready to show appropriate ID at the gate.

Can I book children for Roots and the Festival?

We are encouraging families to attend our TEA Party on the Sunday where we will have a number of activities for children, however, accompanied children are welcome to attend the Hop Harvest Festival for the full ticket price. Please note, no unaccompanied children. We will be operating a Challenge 25 policy at the Bar and appropriate ID will also be required at the gate.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, dogs will be welcome in all the outdoor areas at the parties as long as they are kept on a lead; indoor areas where we will be serving food will be prohibited. There will be water points and bowls provided. 

I am a Tongham TEA Club member, do I get a ticket discount?

Tongham TEA Club members will be contacted at the end of June 2025 and offered a discounted ticket to the Hop Harvest Festival. Tongham TEA Club members will be contacted by email with instructions of how to claim their discounted ticket. These offers are time sensitive so please respond within the time period indicated.  

This discounted ticket for the Festival is only available through the e-invite and cannot be claimed or purchased on the door.

The ticket offers applies to the main Tongham TEA Club card holder only and not to secondary card holders. If you would like to bring a guest, please purchase your additional tickets at the full purchase price either online or on the gate as normal.

What happens if I forget my ticket on the day?

Only individuals with a ticket are allowed to enter the site. If you have booked online, please bring a print out of your ticket or show it to us on your phone or mobile device.

If you don’t bring your ticket, you will be required to purchase a new ticket on the door if there are tickets available.

We operate Challenge 25 so remember to bring appropriate ID to show at the gate.

Can I get a refund for my ticket if I can no longer make it?

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any refunds for tickets.  Please see our Party Refund Policy.

Will I be allowed re-entry if I leave the party?

You will be given a wristband when you enter the party which will allow you to leave the site and come back in within 30 minutes if needed. Re-admittance won’t be allowed if you have removed the wristband. There will be different wristbands for each party and only people with the correct wristbands will be admitted. We reserve the right to refuse admission and re-admission.

Where is the Brewery?

The Brewery is located on the edge of Tongham, just off the A31 (Hogs Back) between Farnham and Aldershot.

Can I park at the Brewery?

Yes, free parking will be available at the Brewery for the party in the field.  Please follow the arrows.  Volunteers will be on duty to show you where to park.  Please be aware the ground may be uneven.  Please consider walking or car sharing where possible to help ease congestion.

Vehicles will be left at the owner’s own risk. Hogs Back Brewery will not take responsibility for any damage caused to parked vehicles.

As a courtesy to our neighbours, please do not park on The Street or in the layby close to the Brewery.

Overnight parking is not allowed.

Will there be Blue Badge (Disabled) parking available? 

Blue Badge parking will be available in the main Brewery car park and you will need to display your blue badge when leaving your vehicle. You will be directed by the volunteers to where to park when you arrive on site.  

Can I leave my car for collection after the event?

Vehicles cannot be left overnight and might need to be moved if left in the way for the next event. Please be aware that the site will be locked after each event finishes.

Is there a drop off / pick up area?

The official drop off/pick up area will be available outside the Brewery and will be marked out.  You will be directed by our volunteers.

Is there provision for coach & mini-bus parking?

The coaches and mini bus drop off point will be beside the Barn in front of the brewery.

In order that your passengers can leave the coach safely directly onto the pavement, please approach the Brewery from the direction of the village of Tongham.

Due to the narrowness of The Street, please contact us in advance if you are planning to arrive by coach. Please email festival@hogsback.co.uk if you intend to do so.

Unfortunately there is not space to park coaches on site (mini-buses can use the field car parking). There is a layby beside the Esso petrol garage on the slip road to the Hogs Back where coaches can be left, please email to specify location.

Is there public transport to the brewery?

By Bus: Stagecoach’s The Kite service runs between Aldershot and Guildford stopping at Tongham and Ash Station which is just a short 10 minute walk from the Brewery.

Stagecoach’s No. 3 bus also runs between Tongham with Aldershot, Yateley and Ash Vale train station.

Please note the public transport information is correct at the time of issuing but please check before you travel.

What drinks will be available on the bar?

The Hogs Back Brewery Bars will serve a range of Hogs Back’s Ales, Lager, and Cider (including Tongham TEA, Surrey Nirvana, Hogstar lager, Hog IPA, Hazy Hog cider and Green TEA) as well as wine, English sparkling wine, soft drinks, and water.  Check the Party page for more information.

All drinks will be served in reusable plastic glasses or cans.  

We operate a Challenge 25 policy so anyone lucky enough to look under 25 will be required to show recognised valid ID.  We operate a No Glass policy so you may not bring any glass onto site and there will bag checks in operation. We reserve the right to refuse service.

We have three bars – the main bar in the yard, the Hangar bar and the Tap Room bar.  Please be aware the Tap Room bar may not serve cask ale.

What time will the bars close?

The Hangar Bar and Tap Bar will close 20 minutes before the scheduled finish time of the last act.  The main bar in the yard will close at the scheduled finish time of the last act. There will be 20 minutes drinking up time after the headline band finishes.

What food will be available?

Street food stands will serve a mix of foods to cater for all tastes. Check our Party page for more details. If you have food allergens, remember to check with the serving staff before you order.

What time will the food stands close?

The food stands will close 20 minutes before the scheduled finish time of the last act.

Will you be accepting card and cash on the day?

We will be operating a token scheme to purchase all food and drinks.  You can buy tokens at the special Token Stations on the day with cash or card.  Please note we don’t accept American Express. The Merchandise stand will accept cash and card payments.  Tea & coffee and ice-cream payments will be confirmed closer to the event.

Where do I buy the tokens for food and drink?

There will be special Token Stations on the day.  They will be clearly marked. Token stations will close 15 minutes before the final music act is scheduled to finish.

Will I get change for my food and drinks tokens at the Bars and food stands?

No, all food and drink pricing will be in tokens so there is no need for change.

Can I use these food and drinks tokens on Friday, Saturday and Sunday?

Yes!

What time will the Token Stands close?

The Token Stands will close 15 minutes before the scheduled finish time of the last act.  Please remember the Hangar Bar and Tap Bar will close 20 minutes before the scheduled finish time of the last act.  The main bar in the yard will close at the scheduled finish time of the last act. There will be 20 minutes drinking up time after the headline band finishes.  The food stands will close 20 minutes before the scheduled finish time of the last act. 

Can I use food and drinks tokens in the Kids Zone?

Unfortunately, no.  Only Kids Zone tokens can be used for the Kids Zone activities at Sunday’s TEA Party.

What happens if I have left over food and drinks tokens?

If you wanted to make a donation to our chosen charity, you can put the food and drinks tokens in the charity buckets on the way out, or in the collecting buckets in the Shop and Tap for 2 weeks after the event, and we will donate the equivalent amount to charity.

Alternatively, you can contact us at festival@hogsback.co.uk to request to use the food and drinks tokens in the Brewery Shop or Tap.  By prior written arrangement only, we will be happy to honour a maximum of 10 tokens per person at their face value in the Brewery Shop or Tap by close of play Sunday 28th September 2025. We regret that, without written permission, food and drinks tokens cannot be redeemed in the Shop and Tap.  After Sunday 29th September 2025, food and drinks tokens may not be redeemed.

Can I use any left over food and drinks tokens in the Brewery Shop and Tap after the event?

You can contact us at festival@hogsback.co.uk to request to use the food and drinks tokens in the Brewery Shop or Tap.  By prior written arrangement only, we will be happy to honour a maximum of 10 tokens per person at their face value in the Brewery Shop or Tap by close of play Sunday 28th September 2025.  We regret that without written permission tokens cannot be redeemed in the Shop and Tap.  After Sunday 29th September 2025, tokens may not be redeemed.

Can I use any left over tokens at next year’s Hop Harvest parties?

Unfortunately, no.

Will I need tokens for the Kids Zone activities?

Yes.  This year we are introducing a special Kids Zone token.  Each activity will require one Kids Zone token per person.  Visiting the friendly farm animals will not require a Kids Zone token.  Full details of the Kids Zone activities will be published closer to the event.

Where can I buy Kids Zone tokens?

There will be special Token Stations on the day.  They will be clearly marked.

Can I use Kids Zone tokens at the Bars and food outlets?

No, Kids Zone tokens can only be used for the Kids Zone activities at Sunday’s TEA Party.

What happens if I have left over Kids Zone tokens?

If you wanted to make a donation to our chosen charity, you can put the Kids Zone tokens in the charity buckets on the way out, or in the collecting buckets in the Brewery Shop and Tap for 2 weeks after the event, and we will donate the equivalent amount to charity.

What can my children do at the TEA Party?

A Kids Zone will run at the TEA Party. More details of the Kids Zone activities will be published closer to the event but our favourite horse rides around the Hop Garden will definitely be back. Please note, children cannot be left unaccompanied in the Kids Zone and must be supervised at all times.  Children use the Kids Zone at your own risk.  Some activities may be cancelled if the weather is bad.

There will be no activities for children available at Roots Live or the Hop Harvest Festival.

Can I purchase anything in the Brewery shop?

Over the Party weekend, there will be changes to the Opening Hours of the Shop.  But we will also be operating our Emergency Beer Service.  Check the website for more details nearer the time.

There will be a merchandise stand at the party selling a range of Hogs Back merchandise. More details to follow.

Will the Tap be open?

The Tap will be closed for the Party weekend. Please check our website for opening times.

Can I bring seats to the events?

Yes, but please look out for the designated areas where you can place your seats.

Will I be able to tour the Brewery or Hop Garden?

The Brewery and the Hop Garden will be closed for tours throughout the Hop Harvest Party weekend.  

Which bands will be playing?

What activities will be going on?

There will be live music taking place on all three days.  Check our Party page for more details.

On Saturday, you can take part in a Hop Hat Garland competition. Decorate your own hat with hops from our garden and the winner will be judged and announced on the day.  The winner will receive a pair of Brewery tour vouchers.

You can have your photo taken on the famous Hogs Back motorcycle if you make a donation to our chosen charity.

On Sunday, there will be short horse-dray rides where you will see the Hop Garden. The rides will be weather dependent. Please note we may have to cancel if the weather is bad.  Check the Party page for more details of the Kids Zone.

What happens if the advertised music line up changes?

Sometimes a change to the music line up is unavoidable but we will provide an alternative of equal quality and communicate this as soon as possible.

Can I camp overnight at the Brewery?

No, there are no facilities for camping and vehicles may not be left overnight on site.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

No, only food and drink purchased at the event may be consumed, with the exception of baby food. We will be serving a wide range of food and drink to choose from.  Please note that there will be random bag searches at the entrances.

Can I bring bottled water?

Yes, but you may not bring it in a glass bottle, as this is a Glass Free event. There will be water stations where you can refill your bottle. There will also be water on sale at the Bar. Please note that there will be random bag searches at the entrances.

Do you have disabled facilities?

Yes, in the Tap Room.

Do you have baby changing facilities?

Yes, in the Tap Room.

Which charity will you be supporting this year?

We will announce our chosen charity shortly.

Do you have a Lost Property department?

If you think you have left something behind at the parties, contact festival@hogsback.co.uk .  Lost property will be held for 4 weeks after the parties and then donated to charity or disposed of accordingly.
