Tickets for 2022 Events in the Tap Go Live

As we start 2022, we've got January and February covered in the Tap!  With live music, celebrations, quiz night, family film fun and live coverage of all the Six Nations rugby games on the big screen, there’s something for everyone.

 Music at the Tap: The MxX – Saturday 22nd January

You may have heard The MxX playing here at the Tap in December.  Enjoyed by all, they are back by popular demand for an evening of pop, rock, jazz and funk, with everything from the music of the 1960s to the present day.

£5 per ticket.

Doors open 5pm.

Music starts at 7.30pm

Burns Night Celebration – Friday 28^th January

Celebrate in style!  There'll be a full bar with beer and, of course, whisky.  A three-course meal, complete with piper to pipe in the Haggis.  Then a ceilidh to finish!

Your traditional three-course meal will be served plated to your table at 7.30pm, accompanied by bagpipes!  Plus a shot of whisky with the ode to the Haggis.

Starter

Haggis with Neeps & Tatties, served with a whisky cream sauce

Or Vegetarian Haggis with Neeps and Tatties, served with a whisky cream sauce

Main

Chicken breast, served with a chasseur sauce and seasonal fresh vegetables

Or Couscous stuffed aubergines, with buttered new potatoes and fresh vegetables, served with a rich tomato sauce

Dessert

Cranachan

Then from 9pm - 10.30pm, join in with the traditional music and dance of the ceilidh.  It's promising to be a fun night for all!

£38 per person, including 2 pints of Hogs Back beer.  Booking essential!

Quiz Night: In aid of The Therapy Garden – Thursday 3^rd February

Give your brain a bit of a workout and join us for the first quiz of 2022!  It’s only £5 per team to enter (up to 6 people per team) and we’ll donate the £5 to this month’s charity, The Therapy Garden in nearby Normandy.

While you’re quizzing, grab yourself some drinks and pizza to keep the brain cells going!

Live Sport at the Tap: Six Nations Rugby

We’ll be showing all the games live on the big screen in the Hangar, and there's promising to be quite an atmosphere:

Saturday 5^th February

Book your table to see both matches, starting with Ireland v Wales at 14.15, followed by Scotland v England at 16.45.

Sunday 6^th February

To complete the first weekend’s action, France v Italy kicks off at 15.00.

Saturday 12^th February

Start the afternoon with Wales v Scotland at 14.15, and finish with France v Ireland at 16.45.

Sunday 13^th February

What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than watching Italy v England at 15.00.

Saturday 26^th February

With back-to-back matches again, we kick off with Scotland v France at 14.15, followed by England vs Wales at 16.45.  Bring it on!

Saturday 27^th February

We round off all the February matches with Ireland v Italy at 15.00.

Book your table of 4 or 6 plus a 3½ pint Snorter of beer for £14, and the table is yours for the full session. 

On Saturdays, your table will be available from 12noon until close (10.30pm).

On Sundays, your table will be available from 12noon until close (6pm).

Look out for our traditional rugby ale, England’s Glory, a perfect accompaniment to the action on the big screen and our new menu.
