The Great British Beer Festival!
It's the annual Great British Beer Festival this week! The event is hosted by CAMRA and hasn't been able to run for the past 3 years so everyone is eager to get back in there and taste some beers from around the world...
We sent off our 3 apprentices with our trade team and owner Rupert to experience the festival in all its glory and it's safe to say they all had a great time and enjoyed tasting new beers.
Over 57,000 people will attend this event over the 5 days, and what started as just cask ales has now developed into keg, ciders, wines and perries too, so our team got to try a broad range of drinks whilst there.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we can't wait to go back next year. We didn't have a bar at the event this year, however, our Hogs Back t-shirts definitely got recognised! Positive reviews came from everyone when they saw the Hogs Back Brewery logo, saying how much they loved our beer and we are grateful to have so many fans who enjoy a proper beer from a family-owned farm brewery.
