TEA just got greener!

Some of you may be scratching your head as to why we are putting our flagship draught ale in a can….

In short, we are looking to the future and ways to make our business even more sustainable.

Aluminium cans are fully recyclable and because they are so much lighter than bottles, they save on transport emissions too.

Here’s a few more cool facts about cans vs bottles….

Cans cool quicker than bottles.  You can double stack cans to save space in your fridge! Cans are more robust than bottles and are easier to carry.  Cans protect beer from sunlight (which can cause light strike and adversely affect the beer’s flavour) as well as taking up less space in your recycling bins.

So cans make perfect sense!

But don’t worry, our Tongham TEA will still be available in bottles.
