St George's Day Menu

Celebrate this most English of occasions with our St George’s Day menu on Saturday 22nd April in the Tap! In our nod to a mock-medieval evening, expect long tables, trencher boards, a buffet, table candles and minstrels!

On the menu:

Our legendary Hog Roast, Roast Chicken Thighs & Roast Beef
Goose-fat roast potatoes
Roasted butternut squash & beetroot
Sautéed cabbage, leeks & peas
Served with freshly baked Beer Bread with Brewer’s Yeast (GF and DF  available)
Vegetarian & Vegan Mains
Roasted Cauliflower stuffed with kale, chestnuts, rosemary & sage topped with crispy breadcrumbs (GF and DF available)
Roast potatoes (in olive oil)
Roasted butternut squash & beetroot
Sautéed cabbage, leeks & peas
Traditional custard tart topped with ground nutmeg, served with honey poached figs (contains gluten and dairy)
Sticky date pudding topped with a rich OTT toffee sauce, served with vanilla ice cream (contains gluten and dairy)
Vegetarian & Vegan Dessert
Vegan sticky toffee pear pudding served with vegan ice cream (DF & GF) 
DF= dairy free; GF = Gluten Free


Buffet serving from 6.30pm to 8pm.

Wash it all down with live music from Darcy Spice, playing a host of lively traditional tunes for your enjoyment. Feel free to get up on the dance floor!

Tickets cost £42 per person (excluding drinks).  Recommended for over 16's only.  Doors open 6pm.
