Reservoir Residents Re-housed!

Work is underway to drain the reservoir at the back of the Brewery Tap. 

As well as arable and dairy farming, strawberries were once grown here at Manor Farm.  The strawberry plants were very thirsty and were watered from the reservoir.

Because we've been overwhelmed by the number of requests to host private parties at the Brewery Tap, we're decided to turn the reservoir - which isn't used anymore - into a new, self-contained event space.  

It's deeper than we thought!  Currently it is home to several sizeable carp..... but we are pleased to confirm that its residents will shortly be rehoused at a local fishery.....
