La Gloire d'Angleterre in the brew house
With the Rugby World Cup a matter of weeks away, it’s only proper that La Gloire d’Angleterre is in the brew house. England’s Glory, our traditional rugby beer, has been given a new name in honour of the French hosts!
Brewed with Pale Malt, Aromatic Malt and wheat for a really robust malty base, with warm depths of caramel.
The Aromatic malt enhances the malty, honey notes and gives some of the richer colour. The wheat not only helps the head retention, but helps give a good, clean flavour.
Goldings, a quintessentially old British hop, originating in Kent, provides the bittering in this beer.
The result is a 4.4% easy drinking, dark golden ale, with bags of taste. Just what is required to help cheer on England in this World Cup.
Coming soon to the Brewery Shop and Tap.
Don’t miss the 3rd Place Playoff on 27th October and the Final on 28th October from the Stade de France, showing on the Big Screen in the Tap!
