Hops Hit the Heights

It's 21st June, the date by which our hops should have reached the top of the wires.  This is how the old saying goes, and we like a bit a tradition here at the brewery!

Matthew is pleased to report that the Fuggles and Cascade hops have reached the top of the 16ft wires.  What with this and the Hop Blessing, the signs are hopeful for a good harvest in September,

The hops may love this hot weather but a bit of rain wouldn't go amiss now to help them over the coming weeks.
