Hops feature on FarmWatch
We were delighted to welcome BBC Radio Surrey to the Hop Garden this week for a feature on FarmWatch.

BBC Radio Surrey Presenter Emily interviewed Estate Manager Matthew live from the Hop Garden to find out more about the history of hop growing in Surrey, what is involved in the hop growing process and how the weather has played a big part this year......

Volunteer Hoppers Ian Dixon (himself a former brewer), Alyn Lamb and Michelle Mackie were also on hand to share what it’s like being part of the 70-strong Hoppers team and how they support Matthew throughout the hop growing year, particularly now ahead of harvest. No visit to the Hogs Back Brewery would be complete without tasting the beers brewed with our home-grown hops!
