Hero IPA marks Remembrance Day
Hogs Back Brewery and family-owned butcher, Alf Turner, are standing shoulder to shoulder once again to raise more money for Help for Heroes with The Hero IPA.
Our limited edition brew, the Hero IPA, is on sale now – in honour of Remembrance Day, marked on Tuesday 11th November 2025.
A portion of proceeds from every pint of beer sold will go to Help for Heroes, the national charity supporting wounded, injured and sick veterans and their families.
The Hero IPA is an easy-drinking, beautifully balanced, 4% mellow India Pale Ale. Brewed with home-grown English Cascade in the copper, married with Mosaic and Centennial hops from the USA, added late in the brew, it has a zingy citrus and mellow tropical aroma and flavour, culminating in a smooth, dry, finish.
The distinctive pump clip design features the three horizontal stripes of the Help for Heroes logo, representing the three branches of the Armed Forces.
Look out for The Hero IPA in the Brewery Shop and Tap, here in Tongham, and in selected Stonegate pubs nationwide.
