Green Light for Green TEA 2025!
Green hopped beers - using fresh hops in the brew – are traditional fare at hop harvest time and 2025 is no exception here at the Brewery.
So it’s time to give our beautifully balanced Tongham TEA its seasonal lift!
The hop bines were freshly harvested from the hop garden this morning ......
.....and taken straight to the picker before the precious cones were hand-carried to the brewhouse.....
...... and popped straight into the copper!
A journey of a few hundred metres, which takes a matter of minutes, so you can’t get fresher or “greener” than that!
Expect the same malt and hop balance of our Tongham TEA, but with a heightened fresh, grassy, floral aroma and flavour. Our 4.2% Green TEA is coming soon to the Brewery Shop and Tap.
