A day of two halves

Sunday was a day of two halves in the Brewery Tap, with the Christmas carol concert in the afternoon, before it was all change and we settled in for the England v Senegal tie.  The atmosphere was heavy with anticipation as football fans gathered in the Tap.

After a rousing rendition of God Save the King, the fans settled down to some serious watching with more than a pint or two of beer consumed.

Happily it was the right result and England march on!

The scene is now set for Saturday's showdown with France.  It's a sell out in the Big Green Shed - the big screen is up, the heating is turned up high and the lights are on!
