Exmoor Ale in the brewhouse
The classic bitter, Exmoor Ale, is the latest through the brewhouse!
Brewed continuously since 1980, Exmoor Ale shot to fame when its thirteenth brew was judged the Best Bitter in the country at CAMRA’s prestigious beer festival at Alexandra Palace.

Brewed with Pale and a smidgen of Chocolate malt, together with a blend of four hops in the copper, this light chestnut-brown, 3.8% bitter boasts a biscuity maltiness counterbalanced by sprightly citrus and fruit central notes, with a subtle suggestion of mint.
Expect a refreshing finish from the Challenger hop-driven bittersweetness, that gives a lingering dryness, with hints of biscuity malt, a whisper of chocolate from the pinch of chocolate malt in the mash and subtle fruity tones.

Coming soon to the Brewery Shop and Tap.
