The pilot plant has been in action again today. This time, Miles and the team are trialling a new 5.5% hazy IPA, Shadow of the Hog…..
With a base of the finest speciality malts – Pale and Munich – blended with wheat and finally oats for a distinctive creamy mouthfeel…..and brimming with a bountiful selection of hops for a complex aroma of aroma and flavours…. whilst experimenting with a different strain of yeast, to help create a distinctive hazy IPA with full of fruity high notes.
Brewed with Citra, Ekuanot and Cascade hops in the boil, and dry-hopped with El Dorado, Simcoe and some more Citra, we’re hoping for a real hop-forward tropical special!
Kegs of Shadow of the Hog will be coming exclusively to the Brewery Shop and Tap soon.
