Cask Ale Week 2025 Coming Soon
Cask Ale Week is the annual celebration of Britain’s national drink – cask beer!
So what better way to honour it, than with our very own Ale Trail!
Thanks to our friends at Cask Marque, they’ve created a special Hogs Back Ale Trail app just for us.
Launching on 18th September, you’ll be able to see a list of local Cask Marque accredited participating pubs, including our Tap here in Tongham.
When you visit one of these pubs, just scan the Cask Marque certificate. Collect the requisite number of scans and you can earn yourself some serious rewards!

Rupert was one of the founders of Cask Marque in 1998, to help introduce beer quality standards for cask ale.
