Burns Night was a hoot

Burns Night was a hoot!

Our 2025 Burns Night celebration was a bundle of fun!

Now in its fourth year, this annual celebration in the Tap brings out the best with plenty of tartan and some deft dancing on display!

With due pomp and ceremony, the haggis was piped in and Tour Guide Mel was on hand to read the Address.Burns Night was a hoot

New Head Chef Danny did us proud with an inspired three-course menu - a Haggis, Neeps & Tatties Stack to start, followed by Chicken Balmoral, stuffed with haggis and wrapped in bacon and served with buttered leeks, roast vegetables and a whisky gravy, then finishing with fresh raspberry Cranachan.  It wouldn’t be Burns Night without a wee dram!

Local musicians, D’Arcy Spice, joined us one again to provide the much-anticipated, traditional ceilidh.

There was no shortage of dancers to do si do and show their prowess in the promenade.  But we did notice the ladies were always up first and some of the gentlemen needed a little gentle persuasion!

With plenty of beer flowing, a fun night was had by all.

See you next year!
