Blackwater Coffee Porter on cask

Here at the Brewery, we’re more used to TEA than coffee, but our latest limited edition cask ale will certainly wake you up!

Brewed with the help of the Hogs Back Brewery’s ladies to mark International Women’s Day, our 5% Blackwater Coffee Porter is brewed with 100% home-grown, heritage White Bine hops.  But it’s the medley of malts, including Chocolate, Crystal, Munich, Pale, Carafa and wheat, that let the rich malt character shine through.  The addition of 5kg of real ground coffee, from local roaster Coffee Real, percolating in the copper lets that all-important, authentic coffee flavour diffuse.

Expect a full flavoured porter with coffee, chocolate and roasted notes before a clean bitter finish.
