5 Lovely Pub Gardens to visit this month
After a few weeks to re-acclimatise to outdoor socialising, we think we are right in saying that we are all rather enthusiastic to head back to the pub garden! Maybe you already have a favourite haunt which you have already booked your table for or perhaps you are looking for somewhere new to try. We wanted to share with you some of our favourite Pub Gardens where you can enjoy a pint of Hogs Back beer this Spring.
The Withies Inn, Compton
http://www.thewithiesinn.com/ 01483 421158
You feel like you have stepped back in time when you turn up the road to this 16th century freehouse. The garden like the pub is immaculately well kept and the food is traditional and delicious. If you drink beer in a tankard and start your meal with the Soup du Jour, then you will feel right at home.
The Bat and Ball, Wrecclesham

A well-known and well-regard pub on the edge of Farnham which is well worth the trip to. A focal point for the community, the Bat & Ball has a great atmosphere with lovely ales and a menu which is a fantastic fusion of pub classics with an Asian tilt.
The Cricketers on the Green, Pirbright

Purveyors of Good Times and Fine Wines. Not forgetting stockists of fine Hogs Back beers too! A classy fine dining establishment ideal for an al-fresco treat. The team have built an excellent outdoor bar area and have also opened a Yurt cafe and Buttery deli and Wine Bar.
The Stag on the River, Lower Eashing
https://www.stagontherivereashing.co.uk/ 01483 421568
A stunning riverside pub and hotel on the edge of Godalming, packed with character and charm. Some of our lucky competition winners in the past have won a night to stay in this fabulous pub. Their newly refurbished patio and pub garden would make a lovely spot to mark as your first pub of 2021!
The Drumming Snipe, Woking
https://thedrummingsnipe.co.uk/ 01483 610010
A name, not easily forgotten! If you are looking for a warm, cosy outdoor space, the team at the Drumming Snipe have thought of everything. With heaters and blankets for each table you will probably forget you are outside. They also specialise in bold, robust cooking and British ingredients at their very best.
And not forgetting The Hogs Back Tap!
On Monday we opened the Hogs Back Tap for a special re-launch night before opening regularly Thursdays - Sundays; we have been blown away with the number of bookings already! We promise the freshest Hogs Back beer (well it was only brewed 200m away!) and have also commissioned our own Wood-fired pizza oven. With events being planned for the summer we hope you will come and visit us.
