Kernel - Pale Ale Luminosa

This variety was bred to deliver vivid tropical fruit, citrus, and stone fruit aromas while toning down the dill, pine, and earthy bitterness sometimes associated with Sorachi Ace. In the words of Indie Hops, Luminosa brings notes of "peach-mango lemonade, candied orange peel, boysenberry, and papaya" an evocative profile that immediately caught our interest.

We saw a clear opportunity: to showcase this hop in both a clean, expressive Pale Ale, and a fuller, richer India Pale Ale. Two formats, one hop, side by side.
