Utopia 8000 Celebratory Brew Coming Soon
Did you know the Brewery first opened its doors on 4th August 1992, selling its first brew, a traditional English ale, to local pubs? This little-known ale soon became affectionately known as Tongham TEA and we've been brewing it to this day to an almost unchanged recipe!
Since then, the Brewery has gone from strength to strength. A special celebratory beer, Utopia, was brewed to mark the 1000th brew and we’ve continued this tradition by marking every 1000th brew with a special Utopia beer.
This year is no exception and we're marking the mammoth milestone of our 8000th brew in style!
Utopia 8000 is brewed with home-grown Farnham White Bine hops for bitterness and Bobek for brewhouse aroma, then dry hopped with bags of high aroma home-grown English Cascade and US-grown Simcoe, Amarillo, Citra and Mosaic. Expect an explosion of zesty citrus and mellow tropical notes from this 4.2% golden ale.
