First TEA Club Tasting of 2026 goes down well
Tongham TEA Clubbers enjoyed a “beauty” and a “beast” exclusive beer tasting last night.

It couldn’t be more of a contrast with our two chosen beers to taste – our “beauty” Juliet Pale Ale and our “beast”, Exmoor Beast, on tap.

Our glorious new 3.8% limited edition, Juliet Pale Ale, went down well. This stunning new collab cask, brewed alongside our sister brewery, Mondo, is crisp, refreshing and full of character. Bursting with sun-ripened mango, hints of pineapple and subtle notes of green grapes and gooseberries, this Pale Ale slipped down nicely. Brewed to celebrate International Women’s Day and designed to be enjoyed by everyone.

In contrast, Exmoor Beast made a statement. Inspired by fireside tales of wild cats roaming Exmoor, this 6.6% dark Porter certainly packs a punch. With its heady mix of toffee, treacle, Mocha coffee and vinous fruits, this smooth, complex, ebony black beer, was sipped and savoured.

With expert introductions into the beer and an update from Rupert, there was plenty to discuss over a glass or two of beer!

Nearly 100 TEA Clubbers turned out for the first tasting of 2026 and the beers got a thumbs up.
