Halloween Treat Coming Soon

Look out for our latest limited edition cask, Trick or Trotters, heading your way for Halloween.

This devilishly daring 5% Chocolate Chilli Porter will really turn up the heat.

The mix of malts including Chocolate and naked oats, together with home-grown, heritage Farnham White Bine hops provide the characteristic balance of malty sweetness and bitter hoppiness you would expect of a Porter. 

But it’s the kilo and a half of fresh chillis, lightly smoked over woodchips by the Tap team, then pureed and added to the copper by the Brew Team, that give this beer its kick.

Dark, robust and seriously warm, this porter will make its presence felt this Halloween.

Did you know?

Porter originated in London in the 1700s.  Dark and well-hopped, the name is believed to originate from its popularity with porters.
