The Hero IPA cans are back in the Shop!
Hogs Back Brewery and family-owned butcher, Alf Turner joined forces back in the summer to raise money for Help for Heroes – the UK’s leading charity for Armed Forces and Veterans - with The Hero IPA.
This time, the Hero IPA cans have been brewed in honour of Remembrance Sunday, marked on 9th November 2025.

Brimming with aromatic home-grown English Cascade hops, The Hero IPA is a beautifully balanced Session IPA, with zingy citrus and mellow tropical aroma and flavour, culminating in a smooth, dry finish. The distinctive 440ml can design features the three horizontal stripes of the Help for Heroes logo.
For every can sold 10p will be paid to Help for Heroes Trading Limited which gift aids its taxable profits to Help for Heroes (Registered Charity Number 1120920).
Remembrance Sunday is a national opportunity to remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life.
It remembers the Armed Forces, and their families, from Britain and the Commonwealth, the vital role played by the emergency services and those who have lost their lives as a result of conflict or terrorism.
