TEA Club Tasting & Talk goes down a treat

The Tap was teeming with TEA Clubbers for the Tasting and Talk this Thursday!

The smooth-drinking, malt-forward 5.9% English IPA went down a treat. Brewed with a mix of the finest English-grown Pale and Munich malt, it’s our home-grown English Cascade hops that are added to the copper, before the IPA is lightly dry hopped with US Centennial and more Cascade hops.

After an introduction from MD Miles......

.....Head Brewer Dewald was on hand to introduce the English IPA.

The surprise treat of Friday 13th, only a few hours early, made the tasting extra special.

Then it was the turn of Mel to take the mike....

A tour guide of over 23 years and counting, accomplished After Dinner speaker and published author, Mel is not short of a story or two…..

The TEA Clubbers were treated to anecdotes, observations on life and pearls of wisdom, all delivered in Mel’s inimitable style.

The evening ended with a round of rapturous applause and a request for another talk soon!

Making the most of Mel, members stayed on after to talk to him personally.

Many a pint of beer was enjoyed over the evening.
