Solar panels get powering

Feeling the heat? Our solar panels have been lapping up every last ounce of sunshine! With temperatures topping 35 degrees here in Tongham, we’ve generated enough solar power yesterday (25th June) in just one day for fractionally under a whole brew on the pilot plant! That’s 2,800 pints!

What's more, this week, over 1/3 of the electricity used by the whole Brewery has come from the 120 solar panels on our roof.

So far this year, we’ve already generated 22 MWh.  With the whole summer stretching ahead of us, we’re on target to beat the 2025 total of 46 MWh!
