Big Garden Birdwatch is a washout!

This morning’s pre-work RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch was a washout! In the hop garden, wildlife was scarce, with the birds wisely hunkered down against the rain.

A few distant sightings of magpies, jackdaws and pigeons were noted but even the deer declined to make their usual appearance! 

Let’s hope for better weather for 2027’s Big Garden Birdwatch!
