Old Tongham Tasty in the brewhouse

The 2024 brew of OTT or Old Tongham Tasty to give it its full name, hit the brewhouse. 

Our 6% strong black beer, brewed with 4 different malts, filled the brewhouse with amazing aromas and Colin got a good workout digging out the mash tun!

First brewed shortly after the foundation of the Brewery, OTT is a very rich, dark ale.  The pale, crystal and chocolate malt and malted wheat each has a unique character.  Local and home-grown Fuggles hops are added at various stages during the boil to enhance the beer's depth.  Old Tongham Tasty is name after the village where we brew on a farm on the edge of the Surrey Hills.  Its complexity drinks "like a festival of different flavours on the tongue" - at least that is how it was described after a lengthy sampling session.
