International Women's Collaboration Brew Day 2026
It’s a big day today in the brewhouse for the ladies of TEA-m Hogs Back. It’s the first time Hogs Back Brewery has taken part in the International Women’s Collaboration Brew Day initiative, championed by Women on Tap.

It’s “open house”, courtesy of Head Brewer Dewald, to get involved with the brewing of Juliet, our 3.8% Pale Ale limited edition beer to celebrate International Women’s Day.
Led by National Account Controller Gina, nine ladies from across the business have signed up to learn more about brewing from their all-male, brew team colleagues…..

…including adding the home-grown Cascade hops to the copper….

......seeing the part brewed beer....

….and the obligatory digging out of the mash tun!

To round off the day, the ladies got to taste a batch of “here’s one I made earlier” Juliet.

Bursting with aromas of sun-ripened mango, hints of pineapple and subtle notes of green grapes and gooseberries, this 3.8% limited edition cask ale, Juliet, got the thumbs up!

Brewed to celebrate the International Women’s Day, Juliet is designed to be enjoyed by everyone!

Inspired by the strength and spirit embodies by Shakespeare’s Juliet – a character defined not only by love, but by courage, conviction and the willingness to defy expectation, Juliet Pale Ale is more than a beer. It’s a toast to trailblazers, quiet heroes and everyday legends whose passion, courage and creativity continues to shape the world around us.
Refreshing, approachable and full of character, Juliet is coming soon to the Brewery Shop and Tap.
Also appearing in JD Wetherspoon’s Spring Festival nationally, in Stonegate’s Publican Partnerships, Nicholson’s Pub Collection and Fuller’s, as well as in the independent free trade this February and March.

Brewery teams and home brewers are encouraged to come together with their communities and local groups to celebrate women in the beer industry, and to create and release collaboration beers inspired by a central theme, raising funds for women’s causes.
The theme for 2026 is UNITE BELONGING
