Hoppers to the rescue!

Our trusty team of Hoppers have turned up trumps and are providing some much-needed help to Matthew in the hop garden. 

Thanks to the latest mix of sunshine and rain, the hops seem turbo-charged, throwing out shoots at an alarming rate! 

It is all that Matthew can do to keep on top of the garden.  Step forward the Hoppers, armed with secateurs and gloves!  

The extraneous shoots are soon removed and the remaining shoots are neatly twiddled into shape.  So while Matthew finishes stringing the bottom end of the garden, the Hoppers are steadily working their way downhill hot on his heels.

The twiddling will likely taken another couple of weeks, so if you fancy getting involved, let us know and we’ll put you in touch with Matthew!
