Hoppers Celebrate after 2025 hop harvest
Hop Estate Manager Matthew was delighted to host an evening in the Tap for his hard-working Hoppers.
Just our way of saying “thank you” for all their help in the hop garden throughout the year, but particularly at harvest time.




There was a sterling show of the Hoppers 2025 T shirts on display…


…and the Hoppers were delighted to christen their commemorative tankards.

Exec Chairman Rupert was on hand to pass on his thanks, praise and appreciation for all the hard work of the Hoppers….


…Matthew added his personal thanks…..

….and both he and MD Miles worked behind the bar pulling pints!


Over 70 Hogs Back Hoppers attended, happily swapping stories, chatting with Matthew, Miles and Brewery Dog Basil….

…and were happy to taste the fruits of their labour with a pint or two of beer, including Green TEA – the first brew using the 2025 hops that they so recently helped to harvest.





With plenty of pints and a delicious curry from new Head Chef Mike to enjoy, a good evening was had by all.
