Pure Gold!

Fresh from the brewhouse comes our latest limited edition cask, Hogs Back Gold - a glorious 4.5% Golden Ale.

Crafted with a single malt to give a soft and subtle malty caramel core, it is carefully counterbalanced with citrus tones. Brewed using the quintessentially English Fuggles, Challenger and Goldings hops in the copper, expect hints of fresh floral fruitiness and citrus, with a refreshing bittersweet finish.

Pouring now in the Brewery Shop and Tap.

Did you know?

Our local heritage hop, Farnham White Bine, was the pre-cursor to the modern-day Goldings hops? As the name suggests, Farnham White Bine originated in this area and was prized for its delicate aroma.  Sadly the last of the bines were grubbed up over 50 years ago and it disappeared from this area.  That is until 2014, when we planted it in our revival hop garden, where it continues to flourish.
