Harvest Tide

Matthew and the Hoppers have smashed it – the last of the Cascade hops will be collected in today. 

It's been a busy few weeks of cutting the bines....

.....quality control 

.....drying

 ....and packing....

 ....ready for cold storage until they are ready to be used in the brewhouse for our beers.

There was even time to take a break.....

 ....and the worst of the weather was avoided.

The whole harvest will be complete and the Hoppers will soon  be raising a well-deserved glass of beer to celebrate!
