First Quiz of the Year

There was fun at the first charity quiz of the year.  Indulging in a few too many chocolates over Christmas might have been a distinct advantage in the Chocolate Picture Round. 

With plenty of pizzas and pints being served, there was plenty of time to mull on the year just past with the 2022 News Review and a Sports Roundup from 2022 too.  With Board Games, Random Knowledge and Music Connections (celebrating singers who sadly passed away last year), there was something for everyone.

The winners with a whopping 68/80 were “Goated”. 

Hot on their heels were "The Runfold Posse”.

But the real star of the evening, was Wally, who was happily seated at the table as one of the team, before he fancied himself as the quiz master.  Watch out Bruce!

There may have been 13 teams but it turned out lucky for local charity, The  Lewis Moody Foundation, who were the recipients of the table sales and other generous donations on the night.

The next quiz is Thursday 2nd February in the Brewery Tap.  So gather friends and family and make an evening of it!  Just £5 per table and all proceeds from table ticket sales go towards our chosen charity.  Book now.
