Big Delivery Day!
3 vessels turned up on site this week!

The DPVs or Dual Purpose Vessels are the latest addition to the pilot plant, and mean that fermentation and conditioning of the beer or lager can take place in the same vessel.

Each stainless steel DPV can hold two of our pilot plant brews, with a working capacity of 32 hectolitres (compared to our giant DPVs in the main brewhouse which can each hold a whopping 210 hectolitres).
In keeping with our ethos for sustainability, these vessels have been repurposed from another brewery.
This latest investment means we can increase our brewing capacity on the pilot plant to approximately 4 brews a week – just what we need ahead of some big launch news coming soon!
Delivered by local company, Bulk Storage & Process Systems, the vessels arrived in perfect condition. Owner Bill, assisted by Jamie and Phil, made the manoeuvring of the vessels into place look easy.

Now its just the small matter of plumbing the DPVs in before we can start brewing!
