A Passel of Hogs

We wondered what the collective noun was for a group of hogs....

 …..as we were treated to a flying visit by many a Harley Davidson machine at the weekend. 

We heard the engines long before we saw them arrive!  How fitting for a visit to the Hogs Back Brewery, as these beautiful machines are known as “hogs”. 

We loved the number plates!

The collective noun for a group of hogs?  The answer, it turns out, is “a passel of hogs”.
