Review of 2024
2024 holds many memorable moments. Here are just a few of our favourite highlights:
Miles and the brew team brewed nearly 200 brews, equivalent to 2.3 million pints! Hogmanay, Toffee Apple Ale, Key Lime Pale, Notorious PIG, Juice-piter and Blackwater Porter among others made their debut…
…while Limited Editions Hogstar Juicy, Big Squeezy, Spirit in the Sty, Mistletoe & Swine, Fairy Tale of New Pork and Home Harvest Ale all made a comeback.
Matthew and the Hoppers pulled out all the stops for our 10th hop harvest…
Meridian TV popped by to film…
…we recreated some historic hop photos…
…and over 4,200 party-goers had a blast at the best ever Hop Harvest Party Weekend, enjoying over 12,000 pints.
Our hops triumphed in the Le Mays Cup. Little Swine won triple gold. One Planet got its first gong and the Brewery was nominated for a sustainability award.
The 120 solar panels on the roof generated 41.58 MWh of electricity, more than enough to power all our One Planet brews. Since going live, it’s the equivalent of planting over 600 trees!
We battled road closures and gained a sister Brewery in Battersea, with Rupert at the helm.
The Brewery Shop has had a makeover and our new tenant has settled in.
With your generous help, we’ve raised money for British Heart Foundation, Children in Need, Crisis at Christmas, Movember, Macmillan, Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance, Shooting Star’s Children’s Hospice and many other local charities.
The lorries have created a stir….
Chloe and Euan graduated from their apprenticeships at the TEA [Train. Experience. Achieve] Academy with flying colours….
….. and Basil, the Brewery Dog became one of the team.
A huge thank you from Rupert and all the team for all your support during 2024 and we look forward to sharing many more happy memories in 2025.
