Steeped in history the Tegernsee brewery traces its roots back to 1050. The brewery is currently run by Duchess Maria Anna in Bayern and produces some of Bavaria's finest lagers.
Dunkel, or dark lagers are generally dark brown but this is quite a light brown example. Roasted malt character and ripe fruit are key characteristics of this beer.
