Hop Blessing 2025 Hoppers Ticket: Thursday 29th May

Join us for the 2025 Hop Blessing on

We’re delighted that Rev. Claire Holt from St Paul’s in Tongham will once again officiate at our annual ceremony to bless the hops.

There will be a few words of welcome from Rupert before the short blessing for an auspicious harvest, followed by a mini “beat the bounds” around the hop garden.

Arrive 6.30pm-7pm to collect your free pint of Tongham TEA (or soft drink) with which to raise a glass to a successful September hop harvest.

Please dress appropriately – you'll be asked to walk through a mild disinfectant solution for bio-security – and it may be wet underfoot in the hop garden.

As a Hopper, entry to the event is free, and includes a pint of Tongham TEA. One ticket per Hopper.

Friends and family are welcome at the event and can purchase a ticket, which includes a pint of Tongham TEA, and cost £5 per person, which we’ll donate to our chosen charity for 2025. Booking essential.
