This dynamic role goes beyond typical retail duties and requires a candidate who can engage with customers about our unique beers, manage physical inventory, and handle a range of administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities:

• Beer Knowledge and Customer Engagement:
  Engage with customers to provide expert knowledge about our beers, brewing process, and heritage. Conduct tastings and offer recommendations to enhance customer experience.

• Inventory Management:
  Assist in managing stock levels, including lifting and moving cases of beer and kegs, ensuring accurate inventory counts, and efficient storage.

• Administrative Duties:
  Handle phone calls and emails, manage customer orders, and support the retail manager with daily administrative tasks.

• Sales Support:
  Support the retail manager in driving sales by implementing promotional activities and ensuring a high standard of customer service.

• Physical Requirements:
  Ability to lift and move heavy items such as cases of beer and kegs regularly, maintaining safety and efficiency.

• Operational Support:
  Assist in the day-to-day operations of the brewery shop, including opening and closing duties, cash handling, and maintaining a clean and organised retail space.

• Event Assistance:
  Support brewery events and tours, which may include setting up, serving, and engaging with customers to enhance their experience.

• Weekend and Evening Availability:
  Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, to meet the needs of our customers and support the retail team.

Qualifications:

• Previous retail experience, preferably in a beverage or brewery environment.
• Strong customer service skills and a passion for beer.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in basic administrative tasks and the ability to multitask.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
